Current Touring Programme:

Ravel In The Forest: An innovative performance from pianist-composer Belle Chen, with music from her album ‘Ravel In The Forest’.

Formats: flexible from standard concert to L-Acoustics Live Immersive Hyperreal Sound (programmed for L-ISA).

Forces: scalable from solo to full ensemble, minimum touring party 3 to perform with local talent.

Utilising immersive audio technology, melodies dance around the audience and synths wrap around the space like a warm blanket.

Audiences are sonically led through ancient woodland, quiet clearings and tropical canopies; accompanied by birds, a chameleon, a dragonfly - the wonder of the natural world is imbued into this imaginary space.

As notes fall like raindrops, quickening pace as the clouds gather. The piano melody splish sploshes into the electronic soundscape; the trees become denser, the journey more profound.

This is Belle Chen's Ravel in the Forest.
